| Round four of this seasonâ™s BRCA Touring Car Series took place over the weekend at the popular Mendip track near Weston Super Mare. This event looked on paper to be pivotal in the 2016 championship as the first three rounds had seen three different winners, Chris Grainger took round one, Elliott Harper round two and the last round saw victory for Olly Jefferies. In the Modified Super Touring class tyre strategy played a major part in the outcome of the result, Chris Grainger sat out round one of qualifying to put himself on a different strategy to his main championship contenders, this paid off and he would go on to take TQ and pole position for the A-final ahead of Olly Jefferies, Matt White and Elliott Harper. Marcus Askell had a very strong run in qualifying to line up sixth with his XRAY T4. |

| After taking leg one of the A-final Grainger the result looked to be done and dusted but Jefferies took leg two setting up an exciting leg three finale, with both drivers now on tyres with similar amount of wear it was Grainger that went on to take the leg and the meeting, Jefferies would have to settle for second and after a meeting where he never really looked to challenge the top two Elliott Harper salvaged a podium place in third. The championship is now between Grainger and Jefferies. If Olly TQ's and wins final round he will take the championship for XRAY. |

| In the Pro Stock class Zak Finlay has already taken the 2016 title but this didnâ™t stop him taking another convincing win, he only needs to with the final round to make a clean sweep of the series, this weekend his main challenger James Hart was notably closer but Finlay held on to take the win over Hart with Chris Gunter taking the final step of the podium. |
